About Our School St. Michael’s N.S. is a rural primary school in Mullinahone, Co. Tipperary, with a proud history and strong links to our local community. We aim to provide a caring, inclusive environment where every child feels welcome and has opportunities to succeed. Our History Our school was established on its present site in 1902, originally as separate boys’ and girls’ schools. The building was rebuilt in 1961, and mixed classes were introduced following the amalgamation with Ballydonnell N.S. in 1966. A major refurbishment and extension in 2003 provided additional classrooms, a P.E. hall and supporting facilities. A modular classroom was added in 2023 as our school continued to develop.
